So the time has come for the baby to move in the big kids room! You check out pinterest and all you favorite blogs and the pieces are so expensive, very cool, but still so expensive :( the trip to the shops has left you feeling flat, you don't think you'll ever create a cool kids room. Yes you can and it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg especially the way kids grow out of things. I'm going to show you how to create a room without having to spend a tonne and still be on trend. If you are handy at all and can follow some you tube tutorials even better! garlands, pom poms are small things that make a big impact and you can make them yourself. So first lets start with some pieces.

White or timber are good for base pieces but do keep in mind each store has their own "white" so they may not all perfectly match when you get them home, same with timber, I have done it and just keep them apart so it doesn't bug me so much.
